Charles Camilleri of Paola (December 24) came up with a splendid idea. Yes, let's start by giving the right to vote to Maltese citizens that pay taxes in Malta. Should Malta also consider cancelling their rights if they do not pay taxes?

There are hundreds of Maltese living abroad and paying taxes and many more thousands that have invested their hard earned money in Malta.

Now, that's an excellent start in the quest to finally have all Maltese citizens treated equally.
