Wait for the hospital

On August 28 we read the article "Sisters shocked at conditions at hospital morgue", which related their unfortunate experience in a visit to St Luke's Hospital morgue, where they went to see their deceased father.

Through the years, this is not the first such story we have read in newspapers, and every time we hear of public apologies from the department or ministry concerned.

I quote what the Health Ministry replied: "It is a known fact that the new hospital, Mater Dei, will have a state-of-the-art morgue where current shortcomings will definitely be dealt with."

People of Malta and tourists alike, "Don't die before Mater Dei hospital is ready".
