I refer to the letter by John Muscat (March 26).

The reason that bikers have not grouped together and paid for a lawyer to stand up for their rights is because there are no lawyers who specialise in the subject. You find all kinds of lawyers but when it comes to a lawyer who has experience in motorbiking, motorbike accidents and general motorbike problems there are none. Going to an ordinary lawyer who does not understand where we come from is not going to help us at all because he simply will not understand what we are complaining about and what the problem really is.

I have been reading about all the problems we bikers have but yet I have not read of any solutions to the problems. How come no one is giving any ideas as to how this problem may be overcome? I dare not comment on it myself because although I am a biker and have been riding bikes daily for the past few years I have not the intelligence to be able to solve this problem. All I know is that I was struggling to find the money for insurance before and now I am going to have even bigger problems with the rise being imposed.
