Prime Minister and Opposition leader join the colourful crowds
Hundreds of people gathered in Valletta on Saturday evening to take part in the Malta Pride March 2025, hosted by Allied Rainbow Communities (ARC).

Floats, banners and DJs brought vibrant energy as participants marched past Castille, Merchants Street and St George’s Square, ending near Parliament.

Photo: Chris Sant FournierOngoing work to strengthen support services through the LGBTIQ+ Wellbeing service and plans for a community centre in Valletta are some of the initiatives that the Labour government is pursuing to “provide a safe space and practical services for the community,” the PL said.

Photo: Chris Sant FournierThe Nationalist Party said it will continue to "stand shoulder to shoulder with the LGBTQIA+ community in their journey towards greater dignity, equality and freedom because it believes that a stronger and fairer nation can only be built when every individual feels respected, valued and empowered to live authentically and without fear."

Highlighting the importance of inclusivity, ADPD secretary general Ralph Cassar said a "truly inclusive society enables full participation through education systems that allow people to flourish, something that cannot happen when a person's identity is oppressed."
