Robert Abela's cabinet of 21 ministers and two parliamentary secretaries have been sworn in at a ceremony at the Grand Master's Palace in Valletta.

The prime minister chose his cabinet on Wednesday, three days after the Labour party secured its historic fourth successive term in government.

Among the major changes is Ian Borg, who will serve as Health Minister, Jonathan Attard as the new Infrastructure, Planning and Employment Minister and Chris Fearne, who returns to the cabinet as Foreign Minister.

Glenn Bedingfield has been promoted to Home Affairs Minister, while Byron Camilleri takes over the education and sports portfolio. Clifton Grima will be responsible for justice.
