One of Malta's finest footballers, Michael Mifsud, played his last game for the national football team on Wednesday night. 

Mifsud enjoyed a fairytale ending to his international career as the veteran striker took just five minutes to fire home a record 42nd goal in a friendly match against Liechtenstein.
