A Holy Week exhibition has been mounted at the Magazzino at the Valletta Waterfront for Maltese citizens and cruise liner passengers.

The exhibition includes a replica of the Last Supper table with life-size characters, 40 costumes worn by Roman soldiers and other biblical personalities during Good Friday processions, three sets of miniature statues made by Maltese artisans, assorted designs portraying Holy Week subjects made of coloured semolina technique and old paintings illustrating various aspects of the Lord's passion.

Organised by Viset Malta plc, in collaboration with Għaqda Żgħażagħ Bastjaniżi, Għaqda Diletanti Personaġġi Bibliċi and the Marsa Pageant Group, the exhibition runs until March 25.

Opening times are between 6 and 9 p.m. daily and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays. Entry to the Magazzino, situated next to the police station, is free of charge.
