Over 3,500 delegates will be arriving on three ships to take part in a major corporate event being held by a large German financial company at Valletta Waterfront (picture) on Monday.
Thus, on Monday Valletta Waterfront will be closed to the public. In view of the scale of the activity, the road running behind the Waterfront, along the bastions, will also be closed throughout the day until the following morning. "There are few, if any, locations in Europe as impressive as our Grand Harbour and the restored Waterfront, with its unique beauty and atmosphere, provides an excellent location to organise such events.
"Valletta Waterfront is delighted to have successfully bid to organise and host this event. We do appreciate that closing off the Waterfront and the road may cause some inconvenience but we are also certain that everyone realises the importance of these events," Chris Falzon, chief executive officer of Viset plc, operators at Valletta Waterfront, said.
