The University Students Council (KSU) executive board is made up of 13 members, five of whom occupy roles within the administration. These include the president, vice-president, general secretary, financial officer and the public relations officer.
Among other matters, the administration drafts and issues press releases and calls press conferences whenever KSU's voice needs to be heard. It also caters for all the financial contracts and decisions entered into by the council. The administration also organises activities such as Freshers' Week.
The president of the council is the official spokesman of the student body and represents all the KSU's organs. The vice-president is mainly responsible for maintaining communication with KSU's corporate and social partners, as well as developing potential new partnerships.
The general secretary administers Students' House, coordinates Freshers' Week and maintains the human touch with all those who correspond with KSU. The financial officer takes care of all financial aspects of KSU, whether it is the drafting of financial contracts, maintaining external relations with corporate sponsors, budgeting of activities, and the management of the KSU account books.
The public relations officer KSU's brand machine, taking care of any poster issued from the office and also administering the KSU website www.ksu.org.mt.
