Whose 'dead bodies'?

The pronouncement "feel the full weight of the wrath of FKNK and Maltese hunters and trappers, and before anyone can abolish such traditions they would have to go over a lot of dead bodies..." by Lino Farrugia of the altruistic hunting, trapping and eGo conservation fraternity, leads one to wonder whose dead bodies Mr Farrugia is actually referring to...
If it's birds then he's definitely right, since the procrastination to abolish such senseless killing (tradition!?) has and is continuing to cause thousands of dead and wounded birds.
If it's hunters, he should not be too anxious. Albeit incensed at hunters' and their leaders' insolence in depriving us of the countryside and the lovely sight of birds, we do not lust for blood, and would thus strive to find kinder ways of curing their condition by possibly costly educational sojourns at Corradino's reserve.
If he was referring to birdwatchers and ramblers, Mr Farrugia must be underestimating who these dedicated persons represent. Maltese and tourists alike seek to enjoy our limited countryside, especially with their children. The Sunday afternoon and "close season" time windows are a sick joke.
Or is it possibly our conventional politicians, those vying for cushioned seats in Valletta or Brussels? Their credibility is on its deathbed and more if they fathom contracting or financing a defence for hunting or gobbling up the countryside, to hide their strategies, with our funds and tolerance.
Can it be more evident? Vote MLPN, get a lorry-full of sickening mediocrity... and impudent behaviour and statements, by the likes of bloated tycoons and Mr Farrugia!
