Wine bar exhibition

The Penny Black Wine Bar at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema is hosting an art exhibition until May 18 by Carmel Bonello.

The artist will be present during a wine night being held this evening where South African Impala wines will be offered at a specially reduced price. Vinnie Vella's Jazz Trio and Nadine Axisa on vocals will be entertaining patrons.

Mr Bonello has held several personal exhibitions both in Malta and abroad.

He is a prolific artist who uses mixed media, experimenting in his works to achieve bursts of colour or bold graphic compositions.

His landscapes are strong and expressive and his abstract work as can be seen in this exhibition.
