Winner of the Voice Kids Malta to represent Malta at Junior Eurovision
Contest for aspiring singers aged 9 to 14
The Voice Kids Malta will return for its second season, with this season’s winner going on to represent Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Georgia.
The Voice Kids is a globally renowned reality television singing competition that forms part of The Voice franchise. This version is specifically designed for young aspiring singers aged between 9 and 14.
During the blind auditions, coaches will listen to contestants without seeing them, and press their buttons to turn their chairs if they wish to mentor that singer.
Should multiple coaches express interest, the performer chooses the coach they would like to join. The competition then progresses to the battle rounds, where singers from the same team perform against each other.
Their coach must then decide which participant advances to the next stage. From there, each coach selects the strongest members of their team to proceed to the final night.
Finalists will also take part in a specially curated songwriting camp, where each contestant will work with professionals to develop and produce an original song.
These songs will be performed during the grand final, with the winner - alongside their original track - earning the honour of representing Malta at Junior Eurovision 2025.
Keith Chetcuti, Chief Executive Officer of Public Broadcasting Services said the Junior Eurovision Song Contest provides an international platform for young artists to showcase their talent.
The setting for the Voice Kids."Collaborating with a global format like The Voice Kids ensures a professional, high-standard selection process, enhancing Malta’s potential to secure another victory on the Eurovision stage.”
