Winter Moods are currently representing Malta on the German radio station WDR 2 as part of the Europa XXL project.

Europa XXL, which is featuring a rock band from each of the ten countries which will be joining the EU on Saturday, is airing features about Winter Moods and about Maltese culture.

WDR 2 is a German public radio station, which is received in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, reaching over 2.5 million listeners daily.

On Saturday, the German public will be invited to vote by telephone for their favourite band. The three bands obtaining the most votes will be performing at a music festival to be held in Germany in June.

The public is invited to participate through Internet voting which is currently open on the WDR 2 Website till Friday. Participants will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to one of the new EU countries of their choice.

Europa XXL is being aired on WDR 2 till Saturday.
