Woman, 20, falls down shaft in late night Paceville accident

She entered a building site shortly after midnight

A 20-year-old French woman was seriously injured early on Thursday when she entered a construction site in Paceville and fell down a shaft.

The police said the accident happened shortly after midnight in Triq Paceville.

The woman fell a height of one-and-a-half storeys.

She was rescued by members of the Civil Protection Department and hospitalised in grievous condition.
