A woman was seriously injured in a crash between her car and a truck in Qormi on Monday afternoon.

The police said the collision took place in Luqa Road at about 2.45pm

The woman, 55 from Qormi, was driving a Chevrolet while the DAF truck was being driven by a 27-year-old man from Birżebbuġa. 

The police are investigating.
