A 50-year-old woman was hospitalised early on Thursday after the car she was travelling in crashed in Marsascala.

The police said the woman was a passenger in a Toyota MR 2 car, which crashed into a parked Audi in Triq il-Gardiel.

The accident happened at about 5.30am.

The Italian driver of the Toyota was unhurt.
