A 38-year-old woman was grievously injured on Monday morning when she lost control of the car she was driving and crashed into a parked vehicle. 

The police said the accident, on Triq Tal-Labour, Żejtun, happened at 5am.

The woman lost control of her Honda Fit and crashed into a Ford.

She was rushed to hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
