I hate to say this but J. Muscat's short letter is as limited as his knowledge of official figures.

If Mr Muscat were to look up official statistics, he would find that women have far fewer accidents than men.

If one had to look at accident figures, one rarely finds a woman behind the wheel in an accident that ends up being fatal. It is such a fact that women have fewer accidents than men and in the UK there are certain insurance agencies, which are 'women only' insurances.

Mr Muscat should update himself and get used to the idea of equality.
