Workshop for children on how to craft clay vases
Tailored for children aged 8 and 12, it is being held tomorrow from 10am to noon
Palazzo Falson’s first workshop from the Crafting Clay series, taking place tomorrow, is tailored for children aged between 8 and 12.
Led by Sue and Gary from Three Doors, the hands-on session invites young creatives to explore a variety of clay techniques while crafting their very own vases. Drawing inspiration from the unique pieces in the Palazzo Falson collection, children will learn, experiment and bring their ideas to life in a fun and creative environment.
Participants will also enjoy a short visit around Palazzo Falson, where they will discover and explore a selection of vase pieces from the collection, sparking more inspiration for their creations.
After the workshop, the pieces will be fired, and the participants will be contacted to collect them from the museum when ready. While care is taken during the firing process, clay pieces may occasionally crack or break in the kiln due to the nature of the material.
The workshop is being held tomorrow from 10am to noon.
