World Aviation Group has announced a preferred partner agreement with aviation IT specialist SITA.
Dominic Attard, World Aviation Group CEO, described this formal preferred partner agreement as a "milestone in the partnership journey". The agreement spells out basic principles for a stronger business relationship between SITA and Centrecom, the contact centre business subsidiary company of the World Aviation Group.
SITA is the world's leading service provider of IT business solutions and communication services to the air transport industry with services for over 600 members and around 1,800 customers in over 220 countries and territories worldwide.
Assane Oueddo, vice regional president, communication services SITA said: "This agreement enables SITA to harness the specialist air transport industry call centre expertise of Centrecom as appropriate for our customers. We look forward to a strong and productive partnership."
World Aviation Group is a joint venture between Air Malta plc and Cassar Aviation Services Pty Ltd of Australia. Formed in Malta in 1989, the group started as a general sales agency representing several international airlines in Malta. In 2006, a multi lingual contact centre, providing services in seven languages, had been launched and this has now been supplemented by a business process outsourcing operation. The group currently employs around 150 persons.
