It is said to be the world's oldest olive tree.

In the village of Wallaje to the south of Jerusalem, the reportedly 5000-7000 year old trunk has passed the test of time, surviving through decades of conflict.

With such a rich history, the tree is something of a national treasure and has even been given its very own caretaker.
