Xara Collection dinner raises over €65,000 in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza

The Xara Collection raised a total of €66,536 in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza through its annual charity dinner and art exhibition, held under the patronage of Mgr Joseph Galea Curmi, Auxiliary Bishop of Malta, on July 9. The event has raised €322,517 in total since its first edition in 2017.

Guests were welcomed with canapés and drinks and enjoyed a selection of expertly crafted dishes by the Xara Catering team, which were perfectly paired with fine wines. Louise Ellul Bonici and her band provided live music.

For the fourth year, art featured prominently throughout the evening. An exhibition, sponsored by Wibke Seifert and Seifert Systems, featured the works of 17 locally renowned artists.

A number of artists donated 100% of the proceeds to the charity, namely Tiffany Banner, Simon Fenech, Victor Grech, Marcus Seifert, Wibke Seifert and Kenneth Zammit Tabona.

Major contributors of the evening were the main sponsors who have supported the cause over the years: APS Bank, Seifert Systems, Camilleri Paris Mode, MUMN, Malta International Airport, RAICO, Malta Business Network, VJ Salomone, HSBC Foundation, The MIMICI Foundation, Halmann Vella, GSD, BLUEROCK Ltd, PwC, EY, KPMG, JUGS, Concept Stadium and WearWorks.

Commenting on the event, director Nicola Paris thanked Fr Martin Micallef, Nadine Camilleri Cassano, and the entire team at Id-Dar tal-Providenza for “their unwavering dedication and compassion”. She also thanked the guests, the companies who donated prizes, those who supported the event with logistics and the sponsors.
