A young Maltese dancing couple blew away judges at a Latin dancing competition in Italy on Sunday, sweeping up two first-place trophies and made it to the finals in age categories far above their own.
Photo: FacebookSkander Friggieri and Martina Camilleri, aged nine and 10, dominated the under 11 and under 12 open Latin categories of the Liberty Dance Cup.
Not content with winning first place in both those categories, their dance studio also enrolled the junior couple in the under 14 and under 16 categories, where they finished a respectable third and sixth respectively.
The dancing couple, who train with Strictly 360 Dance Studios, had to perform five Latin dances in each category, impressing a panel of 11 international judges along the way.
The young duo only started dancing together last year, but have already amassed a number of accolades, winning prizes at various competitions.
