A young man and a boy were yesterday put on probation for 18 months for robbing two Norwegian tourists.

Colin Carter, 23, of Fgura and a 16-year-old boy from Birkirkara pleaded guilty to stealing Marte Stang and Charlotte Flood's bags containing clothes, cash, photographic equipment and other items at Ghadira on Saturday at about 3.30 p.m.

Police Inspector Carmelo Magri prosecuted.
