The Salesian Pastoral Youth Service recently organised a multicultural youth exchange and training course for 37 participants from nine different countries at Savio College in Dingli.

The exchange was entitled Across The Lines - Empowering Young People to Take Charge.

The week was supported by funds from the Youth Programme of the European Union. Salesian youths from Malta, Spain, Great Britain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia took part.

The participants had to face various challenges, such as being awakened at 6 a.m. to have breakfast in Buskett, building rafts and cars and trying them out, taking part in sporting competitions, thinking laterally and singing all kinds of tunes.
