Kercem Ajax 2
\nGhajnsielem and Kercem registered their second consecutive positive result in the championship and obtained a point each in a lively match that produced four goals.
All in all, it was a just result, although much more was expected from Kercem who won their previous match against Nadur Youngsters.
Ghajnsielem showed great improvement from their previous match with new signing Kalenga Ndayi, of Congo, making a fine debut for the team.
After a balanced start, it was Kercem who scored first after 34 minutes through veteran Chris Debrincat. He headed home past Grima from a free-kick. The Blacks levelled the score ten minutes after the restart through a firm Jeremy Camilleri header.
The two teams now ventured forward in search of another goal. Kercem took the lead in the 72nd minute from a penalty after a foul on substitute Alvin Grech. Dragomir Draganov made it 2-1 from the spot.
Ghajnsielem were not demoralised though and eight minutes later it was their turn to get a penalty when Ndayi was tripped in the Ajax box. The latter crowned a fine day for him by hitting home the equaliser.

Nadur Youngsters 2
Victoria Hotspurs 0
Champions Nadur were back to winning ways after their first-day upset to Kercem the previous week.
The Citizens were also coming from a defeat in their first match but despite their enterprise, they were the ones to return home empty-handed after a poor outing from their strikers, in particular.
The Hotspurs saw more of goalmouth action only for Kenneth Abela to conclude badly in front of goal and Ruben Mercieca going close on a couple of other occasions.
Nadur were a different lot after the break but had to wait until the 80th minute to find the Victoria net when Marlow released Joe Portelli who hit home inside the opponents' net.
Abela was close for a Victoria equaliser but three minutes from time the champions sealed the issue. Anthony Portelli lobbing over goalie Borg from a fast counter-break.
Referee: George Portelli.
