The Youth FA categorally distances itself from the Maltese team involved in incidents during a youth football match at the Storsjocupen tournament, in Östersund, Sweden.

In a statement it deplored and condemned the incident and together with the Malta FA said that the team in question iwas not licenced by the associations.

It said that no permit was requested or issued by either the Youth FA or the Malta FA for their participation in the said tournament.
