Two youths were arrested after a substantial amount of heroin was allegedly, found in their apartment during a raid two days ago.

The police said a man, 21, and a woman, 19, were identified following information that drugs were being sold from their residence in Guardamangia.

They said a search of the apartment eventually yielded heroin, cannabis, weighing scales and other related material.

Investigations are under way.
