I and, I am sure, many other commuters would like to express our disappointment at the introduction of bus 88/87.
The Transport Authority (ADT) knows that residents of Zebbug can only board the 88 bus while those of Qormi can take the 89, 88 and their own 91. Now with the new 88/87 route we are obliged to go round the various winding streets of Qormi - Ta' Farzina and St George's - thus wasting another 10 minutes at least. Time is precious.
ADT should not repeat its mistake, when the 88 bus had to pass through Ta' Farzina. This was done away with as it was a folly. Now it has been reintroduced, adding St George's. Now it is even worse.
It is more logical to make the 91 bus pass more frequently and go around the whole of Qormi. How about some support from our MPs and local council?
