Dun Alwig Camilleri Zejtun Primary A recently hosted a visit by representatives of schools from England, Germany and Romania, which are partners in a Comenius on "Healthy Children in a Healthy Europe".

The project aims to make pupils conscious on the need to choose healthy food, to drink water and avoid fizzy drinks, to enjoy participating in sports activities and maintain their personal daily hygiene etc.

The children are also getting used to sharing ideas with other European children and hence feel part of a one big European family.

While in Malta, the visiting partners watched the school's kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 classes perform project-related activities, met parents during a healthy breakfast activity, analysed work done during the first year and planned work that is yet to be done.
