Maltese saxophonist Val Valente has been invited to sit on an international panel of judges for the first Saxophone Competition in Kiev, Ukraine.

The competition is open to prominent young saxophonists of Ukraine and Russia aged between 12 and 24.

The competition is being held between today and Saturday at the Culture Academy of Kiev.
