Marion Camilleri, 19, of Buskett, was critically injured in a traffic accident in Rabat on Monday evening.

Police yesterday described her condition as stable.

Ms Camilleri was driving towards Saqqajja along Buqana Road, which leads from Saqqajja Hill towards Mosta, when she was involved in a collision with another car being driven in the other direction.

Duty magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna held an inquiry and appointed various court experts including Joe Micallef Stafrace.
