The management at Westin Dragonara Resort this month awarded two prestigious awards to its associates. Hotel manager Michael Camilleri Kamsky awarded the 2006 Starwood President's Award to Jonathan Borg and the June 2007 Associate of the Month Award to Julian Pillow.

Mr Borg, who is service express manager, has been awarded the Starwood President's Award, which is given to associates in recognition of the best achievement in their individual Starwood properties throughout the Europe, Africa and Middle East division.

Mr Borg was given this award for his efforts to enhance the hotel guests' experience and for focusing on employee satisfaction and morale. His dedication and commitment helped him in achieving an outstanding performance in all areas of the criteria required for the award.

Mr Pillow, front office shift leader, was awarded the Associate of the Month Award for June for demonstrating in practice two of the three core values of the Westin brand - being personal, instinctive and renewal. He exceeded guests' expectations by going out of his way to help a group of hotel residents even though he was not on duty.

These awards reflect the appreciation of the Westin Dragonara Resort management for the achievements and hard work of all of its associates.
