One person died early on Sunday after two monorail trains collided at the Disney World amusement park in Orlando, Florida, CNN television reported.
The driver of the train, who died instantly, was identified as 21-year-old Austin Wuennenberg.
The network said the accident, the cause of which remains unknown, occurred at about 2 a.m. (0600 GMT). The victim was one of the monorail drivers.
Due to the early hour, the trains had very few passengers, who were not hurt, CNN said. The accident is under investigation.
The accident came only a day after a model of US President Barack Obama made its debut at the "Hall of Presidents" in Disney World during Independence Day celebrations on Saturday.
The "Hall of Presidents" show was suspended for eight months while it was being retooled to accommodate the newest addition.
