A young man walking through an installation set up by the Uruguayan National Fund of Resources to warn against the harmful effects of smoking tobacco, in a main avenue of Montevideo, Uruguay, yesterday. The activity was organised in Montevideo while the Fourth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP-4) to the World Health Organisation’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) is being held in the coastal resort of Punta del Este, 135 kilometres east of the Uruguayan capital.
