Allcare Insurance Group of Companies has announced the appointment of Ramon Mizzi as group head. Mr Mizzi began his professional career in the mid 1980s and has been a chartered insurance practitioner for over 20 years.

Having been involved in all classes of insurance, he has held various senior executive positions within the insurance sector including general manager of Bupa Agencies Ltd and CEO of Citadel Insurance plc.

Eric Schembri, the chairman of Allcare Insurance Group of Companies said: “We welcome Mr Mizzi at Allcare and are sure that his leadership of the executive management team will result in more growth for Allcare Insurance Agency Ltd and Allcare Insurance Brokers Ltd. This appointment has been made in line with the long term strategic plan of the Allcare Group.”

Mr Mizzi said: “I feel honoured to have been given the opportunity by the board of directors of Allcare to lead the group and the executive management team”.

Allcare Insurance Group consists of Allcare Insurance Agency Ltd and Allcare Insurance Brokers Ltd. Both companies are licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority as insurance operators.
