A performance by Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja has been nominated for a Grammy Award.
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be handed out in Los Angeles on February 12.
The nominations for the Best Opera Recording have gone to the Metropolitan Opera's recording of Doctor Faustus and the Royal Opera House recording of La Traviata, featuring Joseph Calleja, Renée Fleming, and Thomas Hampson.
Calleja, writing on his facebook page, said he was thrilled by the nomination.
