ACI Malta recently organised its first event of the year for its members – a wine-tasting and cellar tour at Marsovin Cellars in Marsa.
The tour started off with a historical introduction among original artefacts used by the winemaker, followed by an explanation about the process of how locally-grown grapes are pressed, fermented and eventually transformed into wine.
The visit included a walk through the 400-year-old Ageing Cellars.
The members were guided by the company’s highly-trained staff and sampled the different Marsovin wines accompanied by a selection of local savouries.
ACI Malta is an organisation whose members are, in a large part, engaged within the trading and sales environment in the global financial markets.
Accordingly, members trade in foreign exchange, interest rate products, derivatives, precious metals and commodities.
ACI Malta was set up in 1995 on the initiative of the Central Bank of Malta and was accepted as a member of the Association Cambiste International (ACI) – the Financial Markets Association in January 1998.
ACI currently has over 13,000 members worldwide.
