Fr Nicholas Pace has been appointed archpriest of St Catherine’s parish in Zejtun while Fr Christopher Galea was made parish priest of St Bartholomew in Għargħur.

Fr Nicholas takes over from the late Fr Eric Overend, who died a few weeks ago.

Born in December 1961, Fr Nicholas was ordained priest in 1988 and has served as parish priest in several parishes, most recently in Birzebbuga.

Fr Christopher was born in October 1969.

He was ordained priest in 1999 and has been serving as parish priest in Paola since 2006.
