Financial consultant Joseph G. P Bonello has passed away aged 69.

Mr Bonello was the managing director of Financial Planning Services Ltd, which he set up in 1975, making it one of the earliest independent financial firms in Malta.

Mr Bonello was also one of the founders of the College of Stockbrokers and served on the Financial Services Consultation Council.
