Former minister Charles Mangion today presented his nomination for the casual election to fill the parliamentary seat vacated by Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca when she resigned to become president.

Notary Mangion served as justice minister in the Sant government and was later deputy leader of the Labour Party, but he failed to get elected in last year's general election.

He is currently chairman of Enemalta.
