During a dressdown day organised by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Health, €1,265 were collected in aid of Dar Kenn għall-Saħħtek. The donation was presented to the home’s chairman Anton Grech during a visit by Parliamentary Secretary Chris Fearne.

Also present were President Emeritus George Abela, Darlene Zerafa, Joyce Cassar and Maureen Mahoney.

Dr Fearne thanked the staff at Dar Kenn għall-Saħħtek for providing the best treatment to help residents suffering from eating disorders and weight behavioural problems.

He congratulated the People Management Unit for the initiative and encouraged other employees in the health sector to lead by example and organise similar initiatives.
