A new Scan Centre was inaugurated today at the Birkirkara Bypass, bringing together a variety of computer and home appliance brands.

Economic Services Minister Chris Cardona praised Scan Malta for their investment, taking on board a wider range of products. He also praised the company for the professionalism of its technical assistance.

He said the investment showed confidence in the future, and he was pleased to note that after having recently taken on 12 new workers, the company hoped to soon have 100 workers on its books.

Dr Cardona said the government was working to improve the business environment and would soon be removing the eco-tax, making businesses more competitive.
