Air Malta’s latest group of cabin crew were awarded their ‘wings’ during a ceremony held at the airline’s hangar.
The wings ceremony is the culmination and celebration of the intensive training course which was spread over a seven weeks.
The course covered knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management and aircraft systems, emergency procedures, crew resource management, security procedures, first aid, customer care and food hygiene awareness.
Meanwhile, Emirates Airline is inviting more Maltese to join its cabin crews, An Open Day will be held on Saturday May 7 at 9am at Le Meridien St Julians Hotel . This is the second recruitment drive to be held in Malta this year – the previous one was in February.
Applicants have to be at least 21 years old at the time of possible recruitment and are requested to send their curriculum vitae (CV) in English, and a photograph to www.emirates.com/careers.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and at least a high school certificate are essential. Candidates must have a reach of 212cm while standing on tiptoes.
