Adam West and Burt Ward are reprising their roles as Batman and Robin, but they do not have to don the famous tights this time around.

The actors are voicing the characters in an animated film, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, which is out this autumn.

Julie Newmar will also return as Catwoman.

The film’s colourful style will recall the camp aesthetic of the 1960s live action TV series starring West and Ward that originally ran from 1966 to 1968.

Warner Bros Home Entertainment is scheduled to release the film digitally on October 11 and on Blu-ray on November 1.
