The website was launched in January 2016 by the European Network of Fugitive Active Search Teams (ENFAST) and hosted by Europol, www.eumostwanted.eu.

In January 2017, the Criminal Investigation Services in Malta, submitted information on two most wanted fugitives in Malta. The first was Hamid Nour Eddine Gibrahim, who was wanted for the homicide of Sylvana Muscat from St Paul’s Bay on March 11, 2015.

The other was Kosurgeli Mustafa, a Turkish national, who was wanted in connection with the homocide of a Bulgarian national, committed on June 2, 2011, in St Paul’s Bay.

Through this website, members of the public can provide information via the site itself.
