Three types of Bulletproof protein bars are being recalled from the market since they were found to be potentially contaminated with listeria.

As a result an alert has been circulated worldwide warning that these American products should not be consumed.

The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health said that some of the bars were imported to Malta by individuals for personal use.
