Packages of cocaine and heroin were discovered inside a suitcase by Customs officials working at the airport late last night. 

The packages were found after officers scanned the luggage of a Nigerian national arriving from Brussels just after midnight. 

Officials found a black file at the bottom of the man's suitcase, with three packages hidden inside it. 

Two packages contained a brown powder which narcotics tests confirmed was heroin, while a white powder inside a third package tested positive for cocaine. 

The passenger is in police custody and is expected to be arraigned in court.
