A young woman was seriously injured in a collision between two cars in Qormi this afternoon.

The police said the woman, 21 of Qormi, was driving a Mazda Demio which was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla driven by a 74-year-old man from Zabbar.

The crash took place at 4pm at Triq Piazza Narbona.
