Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has left for Dubai to address a Global Citizenship Seminar. 

The Department of Information said the prime minister will be addressing the conference. 

Dr Muscat will return to Malta on Thursday. 

According to its website, Henley & Partners will be organising the event at the luxurious Palace Hotel in Downtown Dubai tomorrow.

The seminar will provide private clients and professionals in the wealth management and investment industries with a unique opportunity to "learn more about the benefits of alternative residence and citizenship."

Dr Muscat will be in attendance and deliver a special keynote address on the "opportunities Malta has to offer the Middle Eastern elite."
